GCC Logistics Support from Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia is connected by road to all five of its GCC partners, which makes road freight the backbone of regional trade. Diqah Logistics coordinates cross-border movements between the Kingdom and the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Oman: vehicle planning, export and import documents, border coordination and final delivery. It extends our logistics services in KSA to the whole Gulf from one Riyadh team.

Why GCC shipments need specialist support

The Gulf Cooperation Council has a customs union, but goods still cross national borders with their own inspections, documents and working hours. A missing invoice detail, an incorrect HS code or an unprepared driver can hold a truck at the border for days. Good coordination before the truck leaves avoids most of these delays.

Documents for a GCC road shipment

Requirements vary by product and destination, but most GCC road shipments need:

  1. Commercial invoice with accurate HS codes and values
  2. Packing list
  3. Certificate of origin (GCC origin where it applies)
  4. Export declaration from Saudi customs, processed through the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA)
  5. Product approvals where required, such as telecom type approval
  6. Vehicle and driver documents for the cross-border truck

Agree the delivery terms before shipping. The ICC's Incoterms rules define who pays for transport, duties and risk at each stage.

Customs, IOR and type approval support

Many GCC shipments fail because the goods themselves are not cleared for the destination market. Diqah supports type approval for telecommunications equipment in all six GCC markets, plus customs clearance and freight forwarding. For foreign companies without a Saudi entity, our Importer of Record and market entry service handles the legal import side.

Connected to Saudi transport and storage

GCC freight rarely ends at the border. Diqah links cross-border movements with local and regional transportation inside the Kingdom, land freight logistics, and warehousing services in KSA for goods that need to be stored, consolidated or re-labelled before onward delivery.
